This is a space for all e-Teaching and learning activities including courses.

The activities may vary from calendar, announcements, courses, quizzes, and more.

Users will be registered from school based and office based educators officials, 

The content will focus on the use of digital devices such as, laptop, data projector, interactive whiteboard, learner Tablet solution, visualizer, smart classroom, telematics broadcast solution, virtual studio & e-Library solution. The participants will basically gain knowledge with regards to identifying, describing, connecting and utilizing digital devices.

·  This course deals with the background on ICT Management:

o    What exactly ICT is?

o   What ICT management is?

o   What is meant by policy planning?

o   Advocate understanding Why schools need ICT resources and their benefits.

o   Suggest key principles to consider when drawing ICT plan/policies.

o   Examples of ICT resources (hardware, software, connectivity, data..)  

·       Identification of some of the practicalities that need be considered in the management and utilization of ICT resources.

·       Accessibility to ICT resources and/or programs, data, network and devices. (Making the best out of available items). Permissions and roles should be set up for online and offline content, devices and networks.

·       Monitor utilization of ICT resources. (Consideration of technical problems including, school-based auditing of ICT resources Proper documentation and regular updates)

Establishment and responsibilities of ICT Committee.

All teachers in the Basic Education Sector will participate in an activity that combines self-management with the proper teaching and management tools in a way that fully utilizes technology. Teachers will gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the current theories, practices, and methodologies related to innovation in education and the function of digital technologies in teaching and learning through this activity. Teachers who finish this activity will help the education sector by promoting the leadership and management of educational transformation in the classroom, as well as the efficient integration of ICTs in teaching and learning. Lastly, it develops an awareness of how to use various internet platforms and how to make the best use of them.

The programme will focus on ICT integration in teaching and learning. Teachers will be equipped with ICT knowledge, its benefits and relevance to teaching and learning. Learning design framework (TPACK) will be employed to expose teachers to the needed skills, i.e. Content, Pedagogical and Technological Knowledge skills to integrate ICTs successfully in the classroom. Various learning artefacts such as e- Mind maps, Infographics, Interactive videos and e-Books will be designed to engage participants in activities. The SAMR model will be used to evaluate the degree of technology incorporation in a lesson.

·       The course will equip teachers on how to develop lessons, which are interactive using different digital tools.

·       The course will encourage the use of the 21st Century skills as needed in this digital era.

·       The course will sharpens critical-thinking skills.

·       The course will develop analytical reasoning and decision-making skills and involve more collaboration and teamwork.

·       It will also boost imagination, creativity and logic amongst teachers.

Trainees will be introduced to the concept of Change management. They will be capacitated on the steps they need to follow as they implement Change management in their various institutions. They will be trained on how to involve the relevant personnel during the implementation of Change management.
